  1. Use a pump spray bottle to contain a mixture of 1 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons cooking oil, 2 tablespoons liquid detergent, 2 gallons (8 liters) of water, and 2 whole eggs. Spray this solution directly to plants. This mixture is effective in applying on larger coverage.

With these non harmful solutions, it won’t be long for your garden to be safe from these grazing animals. When a deer have finally decided to shift its feeding grounds elsewhere the frequency of spraying these solutions in your garden can be decreased.

Rodent Control

Rodents are another animal that can cause possible damage to your garden. These animals are destructive which can feed on plants and tear up bulbs and crops into your garden. The best ways to get rid-off rodents in your garden is cut off or keep them away from their food source. Start with sealing compost bins, this bins are easy access of food for rodents. When you notice a trace of rodent activity in your area, look for their possible routes. On these routes place some rags or cotton balls that are soaked with peppermint. This will keep off rodents that are allergic from peppermint from using these routes. You can place these rags under an eve of your house or any other type of cover so it can be prevented from diluting when the rain comes. This strategy also works well with rabbits.
